I-MADE & The Future of IT in Higher Education

Leela, Gurgaon, March 18th, 2016: Mr. Aashutosh Bhardvaj, CEO, I-MADE Kryptos Platform & Cdr. Anurag Vibhuti, Program Manager, I-MADE, delivered Keynote: "I-MADE & The Future of IT in Higher Education" at the Second Higher Education Technology Conference 2016 at the Leela, Gurgaon. The conference saw participation from over 250 institutes and the key attendees included Vice Chancellors, CIOs and Directors of these institutes.

Inaugurated on February 9th, 2016 as a 5-year program, under which 11 institutions were selected to be part of Phase I.
One hundred (100) institutes will be selected to be a part in Phase II of the program and Phase III will include up to 35,000 institutions. The goal of the program is to help Indian entrepreneurs build 1 million mobile app start-ups which can eventually become Indian unicorns.

Mr. Aashutosh Bhardvaj showcased the infrastructure gaps student entrepreneurs in India face and how I-MADE program, powered by Kryptos Mobile, envisions to solve those.
He showcased the first few apps I-MADE built on Kryptos Platform, including official mobile apps for NIT – Delhi, IIIT- Delhi, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women(IGTUW) & mySyllabus app built by 3 girls of IGDTUW for their university.



"We are pleased to have been introduced to the I-MADE Platform” said Baanee Tyagi, a student from IGDTUW. She added “we wanted to build an app for our technical fest – Innerve. Building it for android & iOS was a 2-3 month task, however with I-MADE Platform I could build the mySyllabus app within a day. I am planning to build the fest app next."

Mr. Aashutosh Bhardvaj said "It’s exciting to see the student entrepreneur energy around I-MADE. We wish to empower student entrepreneurs in India and bring them on par with their peers in the US & UK."
